We are looking for an Events Agency Director to lead our new brand, Intracon Events. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to attract and retain clients, generate new business, and position our agency within the sector. You will work hand in hand with our Events Team Lead to oversee the quality of our projects, and ensure excellence. Additionally, you will promote Intracon Events in the industry, establish strategic relationships, and be accountable for the agency’s budget and profitability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with solid international experience in leading projects and strategy in the events industry to contribute to a thriving brand. You will join a well-established team and manage a global client portfolio, with the business having a strong 16-year history. 💼 Main responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Management and working in collaboration with our Marketing & Sales Managers, some of your main tasks will be:

  • Planning and Strategy:
  • Collaborate in defining the vision and strategy.
  • Develop business plans and strategies together with management and the marketing team to attract new clients and positioning us as a Top voice in international events
  • Stay updated with market trends and maintain industry contacts to ensure competitiveness.
  • Leverage international experience to manage projects and clients across different countries and markets.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events from conceptualization to completion, ensuring high-quality control.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring the project meets them without delving into day-to-day details.
  • Client and Suppliers Relationship:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate with strategic suppliers and partners, reach collaboration agreements, and ensure the best quality of services.
  • Innovation and Creativity:
  • Introduce new ideas and trends in events to keep services at the forefront.
  • Develop creative and unique concepts that align with customer needs.
  • KPIs & Financial Oversight:
  • Ensure that objectives, KPI and P&L targets are met, aligning with the overall goals of the company.

Requisitos mínimos

🎓Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Over 5 years’ experience as Events Agency Director.
  • Solid experience in international events quality control and agency sales development.
  • Solid experience in international event, all over the world, managing customers from different nationalities.
  • Proven track record of leading, managing, and empowering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills both in English and Spanish. An extra language will be a plus.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and requirements.
  • Active participation in company activities
  • Proactive professional with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on individual with attention to detail
  • Availability and flexibility to travel
