Architecture and space

The Espacio Bertelsmann was built by the prestigious architect Enric Miralles in 1992. This building stands out for its unique design, but also for its versatility and innovation. All this allows for quality events to be held thanks to state-of-the-art technical and audiovisual equipment. Thanks to the presence of adjustable screens and spotlights, it can be easily personalised and adapted to the image and colours of each event. It is a multi-purpose space, made up of 3 different areas: reception area, function room, multi-purpose area and private room.

Areas / Rooms

The reception area is equipped with wardrobes and a table for accreditation. This area can be customised to receive attendees thanks to the 2 screens at the entrance and/or by adapting the table to the design of each client. The main hall has a capacity for 200 people in theatre format and the assembly of chairs, as they are not fixed, can be adapted to the size of the audience for each event. The multi-purpose area is undoubtedly the most versatile of the whole space. Located between the auditorium and the reception area, it is characterised by its central columns and large mirrors. With a capacity of up to 120 people, this is where catering, photocalls and/or networking activities are usually organised. The private room is very suitable for the reception of personalities and speakers, for small meetings and has also been used on several occasions for book and record signings. Thanks to a modular wall, it can be converted into an extension of the multi-purpose area.

Renting the space

The Space is rented in its entirety, and provides clients with all the room and stage furniture, as well as microphones and the large LED screen on the stage.
