Mister Karton

At Mister Karton we are dedicated to EcoDesign, carrying out products, projects and services that minimize the environmental impact throughout their life cycle. Our ecodesign methodology begins from the conception of the product, designing to maximize durability and minimize the use of materials, using only between 2 and 3. We work mainly with organic materials such as cardboard, wood, cork, bamboo, which are biodegradable and 100 % recyclable. FSC certified cardboard and wood. Suitable for WELL, BREMAN and LEAD certifications for sustainable construction.

Our production is local, carried out entirely in our workshop in Mataró, Barcelona, ​​where we also maximize the use of materials to reduce waste. We use ecological water-based paints and varnishes and we source 100% green energy through nova light energy. Additionally, we strive to minimize packaging, reusing it whenever possible, and design modular parts that facilitate efficient transportation and reduction of CO2 emissions. Our approach includes the use of materials with low formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds content, not harmful to living beings.

Finally, we promote responsible consumption and offer products that are easily dismantled and recyclable at the end of their useful life. Our products, made from 95% cardboard and with only a couple of additional materials, allow for easy waste management and recycling. We seek to give them a second life and non-reusable waste is sent to specialized recycling centers. At Mister Karton, every step of the process is designed to ensure sustainability and respect for the environment.
