More than 30 education sessions will provide access to new ideas, connections and experiences. The education includes separate tracks for incentive travel and meetings management professionals, in keeping with each association’s DNA, as well as concurrent sessions focused on each industry’s hottest trends, specifically designed to connect meeting and incentive professionals.
The event’s tagline, “Connecting Event & Incentive Professionals”, will come to life in the educational sessions. As the organisers remind us, breakthrough ideas occur when concepts from diverse industries, cultures and disciplines intersect, so the event will maximize these eye-opening sessions. For instance, this year’s line-up includes Italian paleontologist Alberto Angela; Frans Johansson, founder and CEO of The Medici Group; and Julie Cottineau, Founder of Brain Twist. Varied profiles… Here are a few examples of topics which will be covered:
- A Day in the Life of Ancient Rome. Alberto Angela (author of many books and producer or history TV shows) will take delegates on a journey back in time for them to experience a day in ancient Rome.
- The Medici Effect. Fran Johansson will urge individuals and organizations to break down the silos and step into “the intersection”, a place where different fields, disciplines, departments, and cultures converge to create breakthroughs.
- Storyteller Plenary Sessions. The idea here is that we often look outside of our own industry for inspiration and knowledge, but some of the most powerful stories come from our community. This session will get kicked off by a professional storyteller who will share the power of storytelling, followed by four storytellers from the meeting and incentive community.
- Twist- How Fresh Perspectives Build Breakthrough Brands. It’s been an amazing event, but now what? In this presentation Julie Cottineau, author of the best-selling book, “TWIST: How Fresh Perspectives Build Breakthrough Brands,” will share tools and tips to twist the experience and take the learning home.
Other program highlights include the opening celebration, MPI Foundation’s Rendezvous fundraiser and networking event, SITE Chapter Excellence and Crystal Awards, the closing dinner, and optional incentive pre- and post-tours.
The event will also include specific certification sessions and specific registration advanced sessions and master classes.
And yes, Grupo eventoplus will be there!
