The Tradeshows and Congresses Hall of Malaga hosts the first edition of the Mediterranean Gastronomy

The Feria Gastronómica del Mediterráneo opens today (11/06/2004) its first edition in the tradeshows and congresses Hall in Malaga with activities that include a international cuisine festival, ham, wine and olive oil tasting, and round table discussions for both professionals and the general public.
The show will have a professional character. Three days will be dedicated to the professional sector while the on June 12 and 13, it will be open to the general public, with the aim that Malagan society will be able to participate and know the latest in the food industry.
Present will be the prestigious chefs that will show their culinary skills in the cuisine festival that will hold up to 150 persons.
The main challenge of the show is to generate sales agreements among the different agents from the sector. For that, a sales project has been designed to get the active participation of buyers, professional associations, distribution chains management and product importers.
The business volume that will be generated in this first edition will be fundamental to determine the national and international projection of the show.
