The number of events held in the Valencia Congress Centre last year increased 30% in relation to 2004, especially the international congresses which doubled its number. The number of events held in the Valencia Congress Centre last year increased 30% in relation to 2004, especially the international congresses which doubled its number.
The centre closes the year with a record number in attendants, 138,000 approximately, who participated in 174 events, mainly national and international congresses, conventions and work sessions.
The events held in the centre include the 5th International Conference on Quality of the Urban Air, the World Psychiatric Association Congress, as well as conventions of international companies, such as Toyota, Heineken, Astra Zeneca and Telefonica.
The centre has reservations for over 150 events until 2012.
