The Branded Entertainment trend continues… in this case with an example of brand entertainment which takes place in a point of sale. Since last July, a new interactive module created and marketed by Cuatic, involves visitors of the mall L´illa Diagonal in Barcelona.

Thanks to sensors and cameras, Hamelin immerses the user within an advertising game developed for the advertiser. The person can see his silhouette on the screen and, by moving his body, can also interact with the images and sounds of the game.

The first companies that used this service are La Sexta (Spanish TV channel) and Dodot. At the end of the first month, 10,000 visitors had got involved in this branded game. This this kind of initiative of branded games, mostly used online up to now, could be increasingly used for events, for instance as a resource for the sponsors to make their products become something experiential during a sports or cultural event.
