The Murcia Convention Bureau part of the Taxi Coordinator

The Murcia Convention Bureau is now part of the Taxi Coordinator, aimed to improve the management of this transport sector, and made up by the councillor of Public Works and a representative of the professional taxi associations, among many other entities.

With the objective of holding of the 8th edition of Tecnimap, the Convention Bureau favoured the collaboration between the councils of Public Works, Public Thoroughfare and Transport with the Taxi Associations to guarantee the development of the event and an efficient coordination of attendants (more than 3000 congress persons and 160 exhibitors).

The result was highly valued by hotel and f&b managers as well as by the taxi associations, satisfying the needs generated by the event with the establishment of a taxi stop at the Auditorium and the exact coordination with the timetables of the congress people, among other initiatives, all of which proved that the city has perfectly effective infrastructures and services to house big events.

The Murcia Convention Bureau, created in 1998 bt the Town Hall in collaboration with private and public companies and the aim to promote Murcia as Congress, Conventions and Incentives destination, has the intention to establish other taxi stops at the new AC, Ibis and Campanile hotels, among others.
