The Iberian chapter of ICCA identifies in EIBTM the new key success factors of the associations market

Four professionals from different backgrounds answered the question asked by Juan José García, president of the chapter, “What is the most effective communication strategy in the associations market?”: Airy Garrigosa (Barcelona Convention Bureau), André Vietor (Viajes Iberia Congresos), Belen Mann (IFEMA Congress Centre), Duarte Ferreira (Abreu Destination Management).
They all agreed that the transformation of associations -in their ways of working and in their expectations- forces PCO´s and DMC´s to diversify their objectives, create mid-and long-term strategic plans, and add more value. The key words these days are search (of information about the client and their objectives), personalisation (of proposals), transparency (in prices and costs) and trust.
The next educational meeting of the Iberian chapter of ICCA will take place on 19th and 20th of March in Oporto, together with the yearly assembly of the association.
