The Hotel Torre Catalunya opens in Barcelona

Expo Hotels & Resort officially opened its third hotel in Barcelona yesterday (07/09/2004), the four-star superior Hotel Torre Catalunya. Located next to the Sants station, 15 minutes from the airport and close to the exhibition area of the Avenida Diagonal, it offers 23 floors of 272 rooms and suites.
Conceived for a business and convention clientele, the rooms are equipped with technical equipment such as WIFI connection for Internet and cable.
The infrastructure for meetings and conventions is most important and versatile, being the only hotel in Barcelona that has an auditorium with a capacity for 100 persons and is equipped with the latest technology for sound, projection, lighting and internet connection. In addition, the hotel has 7 multifunctional rooms and are adaptable to hold a capacity of up to 170 persons.
