The XXXVII edición of the Sitges International Film Festival of Catalunya
From the 2nd to the 11th of December, the 37th edition of the Sitges International Film Festival of Catalunya took place with an excellent showcase of the different trends of film and a special incidence in the fantastic type. Sono collaborated actively as the Official Provider for Audiovisuals media in this edition and also for the following editions in 2005 and 2006.
INSTITUTO ARAGONéS DE FOMENTO “DINOPOLIS PARK TERUEL (PHASE 2005)†IN EXECUTION
SONO (Euphon Group) after presenting itself to the Official Bidding to provide equipment for the expansion phase of the Dinopolis Park in Teruel, has won three of the categories. The park is currently in the execution phase for hardware, software and the development of the necessary audiovisual content in the world of dinosaurs.
New information system for visitors in the MNAC –Barcelona
On the 16th December, the official presentation of a new information system for the visitors of the MNAC (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya) took place, in which SONO participated actively in the installation of the equipment as well as the development and program installation for the information screens.
The installation included two plasma screens with two PCs, integrated in a piece of furniture. In January 2005, it is previewed to install another two additional screens. The information system combines video and photography images.
The “ADIOS A R.E.N.F.E.” event
On the 29th December, RENFE announced the change of its new image, bringing its history during an event in the Puerta de Atocha station with a train from the 40’s and with people dressed in the époque and the exit of a new train of the future with the new logo of the company. Sono provided the lighting of both the trains as well as the sound system on the platforms 11 and 12. The event was opened by Magdalena Alvarez, the Minister of Public Works, where ex-Presidents and authorities of the company were also present.
The FUNDACION DEL PATRIMONIO HISTORICO DE CASTILLA Y LEON
“LA CASA DE LOS CONDES – VISITOR CENTRE – SALAMANCA” IN THE EXECUTION PHASE (2004-2005)
During the month of June, a contract with the Fundación del Patrimonio Histórico de
Castilla León for the edition and execution of the project to create the Casa de los Condes Visitor Centre in Lumbrales, Salamanca, was signed.
This centre hosts, in the interior of the Palacio Ducal de Lumbrales (a unique building that comprises of one of the most important elements of the heritage of the venue), a wide museography resources: audio-visual projections, interactive modules, a virtual theatre, various graphics and interactive modules.
Convention of the Management of Abertis Telecom
On the 7th October, Euphon Events Barcelona organised the convention of the management of Abertis Telecom (belonging to Tradia and Retevision respectively) in the Winterthur Auditorium in Barcelona.
The meeting, under the theme “Closing the Circuit†had the attendance of 200 persons with a lunch in the La Font del Lleo restaurant. For the meeting, there was a technical design that included 4 microlines to strengthen the presentations as well as to be a constant reminder of the theme of the meeting: Abertis Telecom closing the circuit.
