The chain Princess Hotels & Resorts, with 24 hotels and 20,000 rooms, continues its international expansion plan with a new project to build two new hotels with 1,200 rooms during the first phase, in the Riviera Maya in Mexico. The new complex will be located in Punta Bete and will include various villas with independent services.

In Spain, Princess Hotels & Resorts is in the process of creating their third resort in the Canary island of La Palma. The complex, Tinabuna Princess, will have a four-star category and 450 rooms.

The Hotel Barcelona Princesa, the first urban experience of the chain, closed the year with an occupation of 72% and will launch a new corporate website in 2006.
