Portugal moves seven positions, occupying the 15th position in the list of 130 countries that the Economic World Forum has ranked in terms of Competitiveness in the tourist and travel sector. With regard to the European countries, it is in the ninth position, moving up four places since 2007.

Switzerland, Austria and Germany are the leaders in this ranking which evaluates, among other aspects, human, cultural and natural resources and the infrastructures.
