The Derby Hotels chain will open the Hotel Granados 83 in Barcelona at the end of the year. Located in this street and number, this new boutique hotel combines the traditional Barcelona architecture of the begining of the 20th century with a minimal interior.
The four-star Granados 83 has New York loft style rooms and zen design in an industrial-like building and is located in the Eixample area, a short distance from Rambla Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia.
The new hotel, which is due to open at the end of 2005, is the sixth hotel of the chain in Barcelona. In its international expansion, the group has acquired the Caesar in London.
