On 28th May, the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) hosted for the second consecutive year the cardiology world congress EuroPCR, which was attended by 10,400 medical professionals from over 80 countries, and generated an impact on the city of more than 16 million euros. The organisation has confirmed that in 2009 the congress will also be held at the CCIB.
