To celebrate the new direct flight Barcelona – New York of American Airlines, the agency Weber Shandwick organised an event, last 9th April, themed on the link between both cities: the choice of the Casa Batllo as a venue was a symbol of Barcelona while the very special lighting was typical of New York.

“In order to unite modernity with tradition, we decided to elaborate a minimalist decoration based on lighting. This allowed us to give Casa Batllo a very special environment, emphasising the modernist details of Gaudí’s architecture,” according to the agency.

The catering El Bulli served its already traditional ice creams cuts of Parmesan, spherical olives… while a quintet of jazz entertained the party.
