For the first time has performed an analysis on the economic impact of the sector in the U.S. and the results are surprising: the industry is larger than automotive, entertainment or information services.
Until now, the WTO carried out studies on the impact of global tourism and locally but not segmented the concrete dimension of business travel. The study released Feb 17 by PricewaterhouseCoopers at the request of the Convention Industry Council and MPI and other industry organizations, though U.S. centric is a breakthrough and a tool of exceptional interest to both industry and the countries because can assess the true extent of this activity.
