What is ‘NetZero Events’, the international commitment of the MICE industry? What do ChatGPT and artificial intelligence for events mean? Companies still far from defining sustainability targets in MICE
Good news for Madrid, which opens the new year with a positive balance in the development of industry conferences. A total of 37 major meetings are held at the Madrid Convention Bureau (MCB) between 2011 and 2017.

A number intended to increase, taking into account that 60 applications still remain opened for holding conferences to be decided in the coming months. More than half of the meetings involving more than 1,000 delegates. Among these the most notable are the Congress of the European League Against Rheumatism in 2013 (EULAR), which will be attended by more than 15,000 delegates; IFRA Expo & exhibition 2012, with 10,000 participants in the communication sector; and EPA 2014 (European Congress of Psychiatry), which is expected to involve up to 3,500 experts in psychiatry.
