For the third consecutive year, Madrid Espacios y Congresos has obtained positive results in the financial year 2006. Compared to the 3.07 million Euros in 2005, the company achieved 5.63 millions Euros in 2006, almost doubling the figure in the previous year.
During last year, the events held in its facilities grew 3.5% and 20% in visitors with 366 events and 1,815,883 attendees, respectively.
Among the challenges of the company is the future construction of the new International Convention Centre, “it will be the largest one and the most modern in Spain”, according to the entity.
