The hotel chain Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts announced today (30/08/2004) the incorporation to manage a hotel in Split, in the Croatian adriatic coast.

The hotel, which currently is closed for renovation until its re-opening in 2006, will have 381 rooms, three restaurants, four bars and 2,000sqm of “flexible space” for meetings. “The project will represent a fantastic opportunity for Le Meridien to introduce itself in an emerging destination that has experienced recently, a stable and substantial growth”, explained the Executive Director of the chain, Robert Riley.
