The hotel representative, Keytel, has modified its current model of classification in order to categorise its portfolio of close to 1,400 hotels in 51 countries, under some common quality criteria and going beyond the official categories of each country.
This restructuring “is based on the intention to facilitate the hotel selection, offering additional information about the quality standards of facilities and of the service of each hotel, independently of the information contributed by its own official category”, according to Keytel.
The new five Keytel categories are Luxury Class, Excellence, Premier, Comfort and Basic.
