The hotel chain of independent hotels, Hotusa, has moved from sixth to fourth position in the ranking of the 25 main companies dedicated to marketing services and reservations for hotels by Hotels Magazine, based on data from 2005.

Hotusa increased 32.75% the number of represented rooms, from 118,861 in 2004 to 157,789 in 2005. As for the number of associated hotels, the company grew 22.5% for a total number of 1,763 hotels during the first seven months of 2006, at the closing of which the chain expects to overpass 2,000 associated establishments.

The hotel representation company Keytel, also from Grupo Hotusa, goes from the eighth to the sixth position with 130,000 rooms in 1,300 associated hotels worldwide, and has increased over 42% the number of rooms.
