Renovation in association dedicated to the great green events, the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC): founders Amy and Nancy Wilson Spatrisano leave the presidency to Guy Bigwood (MCI group sustainability director, and previously CEO of MCI Spain ) and the president-elect Paul Salinger (vice president of marketing for Oracle).

The association was founded in 2003 to promote sustainability through training, research and definition of standards. It has experienced a 300% growth over the past two years. Guy Bigwood launched MCI in Spain and was its CEO until 2009, when he was named sustainability group director of the agency
