The race means for Argentina and Chile a unique showcase for the world to see its many attractions. Argentina´s Minister of Tourism, Enrique Meyer, said that “the movement that is generated by this event leaves Argentina some 170 million dollars.”
Not that excuses are needed to discover these regions, but took advantage of the Dakar for a brief look at your options for incentives in these areas:
In the provinces of Jujuy and Salta, one of the biggest attractions for a mythical group is traveling in Train to the Clouds. Covers a distance of almost 500km through the Andes more than 4,000 m in height which makes it the highest in the world.
Another point on the route, Fiambalá (Catamarca), is home to many wineries with great tradition where tastings are held and which can be rented for events. No incentives in the band should stop visiting the neighbors “six thousand”, a set of 19 volcanoes nestled in the Andes Mountains on the border with Chile.
Wine tours and dinosaurs in La Rioja
Next stop is La Rioja, Cuyo province is also famous for its wines and gastronomic delights, which is also famous lakes and a geological basin more than 70 million years cradle of the first dinosaurs populated the planet. This area is one that offers greater facilities and facilities for large events.
After leaving San Juan-based national parks and the Leoncito-Ischigualasto, the Dakar will make a final stop in Cordoba. In this city an attractive option may be to host the group in one of the estancias that abound in the area and can be rented in its entirety to get started. It is also an area noted for its range of golf.
Finally, and although it is far from Dakar route, if there is time for a trip to Patagonia can be a unique experience to join the trekking on glaciers.
