It all happened in Barcelona on 28th of December. IKEA placed sofas and armchairs in the streets where locals and tourists can sit down and enjoy the performances. The street marketing campaign, developed by the agency Balthazar, to let people get to know the sofas in a more personal way: more than ten thousand persons lounged in IKEA’s sofas and attended the different shows in el Moll de la Fusta.
Next destination: Seville, from 14th to 17th February. A improvised tent in a 300m2 with a 18m²stage with a back-projection screen and decorated by sofas, armchairs, carpets and lamps from IKEA, will hold the public. For four days and three sessions per day, more than 2,500 persons attended at three daily passes of the play “The love of the cat and the dog” of Eusebio Jardiel Poncela for free.
