IBTM World, which takes place in Barcelona from 19-21 November, has presented at a pop-up event at Cannels Lions its new programme called 'Exceptional experiences', which aims to provide a direct response to the challenges faced events and marketing professionals through innovative strategies to create experiences that drive business growth.

Exceptional Experiences was launched at a pop-up event at Cannes Lions on 21 June in a session that brought together creative industry and media professionals, including Jimmy Knowles, global director of experiences at Canva; Judy Lee, senior director of global brand experiences at Pinterest; Shauna Little, vice president of advertising and marketing solutions at The Washington Post; and Claudia Hall, director of events at IBTM World.

The new programme is an evolution of the corporate events programme developed at IBTM World 2023 and, among other content, will feature an invitation-only workshop for senior executives, vice presidents and influential leaders from different sectors on the first day of the show, 19 November.

The second day will feature the l Exceptional Experiences Forum on the main stage with specific content such as leveraging AI and technology, community building and how to leave a lasting, positive impact on attendees.
