Over 65 professionals of the meeting industry from 23 countries participated in the 21st Summer school of the EFCT from 25th to 29th August in Tallinn, Estonia. The first summer school organised by the new “European Cities Marketing”, association, it brought together the old European Federation of Congress Cities (EFCT) and “European Cities Tourism” (ECT).

Every year, the three-day seminar offers a combination of plenary meetings, practical demonstrations and site inspections. Organised for directors, market researchers, organisers, PCOs and executives who have recently joined to the sector, the main intention of the summer school is to train professionals in the latest marketing tools and to help them develop the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the congress, meeting and event management.
