The European Federation of Professional Congress Organisers, EFAPCO, has been accepted as member of the Affiliated Members Council of the World Tourism Organisation, WTO. Its incorporation was approved in the 78th World Tourism Organisation Executive Committee meeting which was held in Quito, Ecquador.
EFAPCO is the only Professional Congress Organisers association that is member of the WTO. WTO will be present in the II Annual Congress and General Meeting of EFAPCO which will take place in Athens in December, where it will develop a presentation on the evolution of Meeting Tourism in the world.
