Dolce International, managing company of Dolce Sitges, their first resort in Spain for conferences, congresses, incentives and special events, has announced this morning (14/06/06) the acquisition of the hotel by the Irish Group Inchydoney Partnership.

Inchydoney Partnership, an Irish private equity fund who specialises in the hotel sector, has acquired 100 per cent of the Dolce Sitges property (Med Dolce Sitges, S. L.), that was controlled by Dolce International and Med Group, each with a 50 per cent participation.

The transaction, managed through Jones Lang LaSalle and signed last May 30, amounts to 61 million Euros and is the first investment of the Irish Group in Spain and out of Ireland. As a result of this alliance, Dolce International continues to manage the hotel and conference centre through a long-term management contract.
