Dolce International, the global conference and resort company, will open its latest European property in Sitges, near Barcelona, in October.

The Dolce Sitges is 30 minutes from Barcelona and 20 minutes from the airport. It will offer 263 guest rooms and 2,175 square metres of dedicated meeting space including two amphitheatres, nine meeting rooms and a ballroom for up to 450 theatre style.

Andy MacLellan, president Europe Dolce International, said: “Dolce Sitges will be a fine example of the Dolce Difference; our belief that a conference destination should be as comfortable as a four-star hotel. This is a concept that we have introduced across North America and much of Europe, but it is new to Spain. Dolce Sitges demonstrates our commitment to offering the Dolce Difference in all key European cities.”

Dolce International currently has 26 properties in the United States, Canada and Europe and has announced plans for an aggressive expansion programme that will double the number of Dolce properties globally within the next three years.
