The keynote speaker will be Anick Beaulieu, Vice President of Growth and Partnerships at C2, one of the world’s most cutting-edge trade fairs. Anick and Igor Beuker (futurist, entrepreneur and activist) will talk about how corporate entertainment can be a generator of culture, using the C2 event in Montreal as a case study. In the second keynote, Gareth Kelly, Senior Director and Head of EMEA Strategic Events at Salesforce, will discuss how Salesforce uses its events to drive better business outcomes and create meaningful cultural experiences for companies.
The third day will feature futurist Igor Beuker, known for his foresight into the trends and technologies that will affect business, the economy and society. His radical vision and groundbreaking ideas are a source of inspiration to answer the question of what events will be like in 2030. On the same day, Despoina Zachariadou, UX designer and VR/AR creative technologist at Jack Morton Worldwide, will be speaking. Despoina will take us on a journey from storytelling to story experience, as she considers how the metaverse is shaping communication, behaviours and communities and what implications it may have for the future of events.
“This year we have brought together an amazing programme of new voices to offer fresh perspectives, interesting solutions and thought-provoking concepts. It’s content that offers tangible value and will inspire people to think differently and help them create their own amazing events,” said David Thompson, Event Director, IBTM World.
IBTM Accelerate presents “Tech for Good”, with three days of content that aims to assess where the industry is now, what it looks like in the near future and what’s next in the world of technology, both within the events industry and beyond.
