The solution proposed by the international event technology player is Apollo, a content manager for distribution to various rooms and devices. This software platform includes a central server, on which editors can monitor and modify presentations, and the various meeting rooms automatically access the updated versions. An interesting idea in the era of the multiplication of breakout rooms in congresses, in order to have ever more specialized sessions. The editors can connect remotely or from the central room to this server and make the necessary changes and updates. The central operator can even see which presentation is being used in each room, which slide in and how long the speaker remains on the slide. This system starts with a heavyweight reference: the Mobile World Congress uses it for its presentations.
And in the era of “content is king” and of the dictatorship of social networks, they also launch Mercury, a dynamic content management and communication system which centralizes various sources of media. This cloud-based system collects information from various sources (social networks, web pages, the organizer’s own content…) to create a channel to inform attendees. You can, for example, search for the most relevant content on social networks and transmit it to the attendees, who can in turn give their opinion on these contents.
It makes it possible to disseminate these contents in a segmented manner according to the nature of each zone, on the screens on site (main screens or displays of common areas), allowing a diffusion of personalized content to each space. You know that the content will be increasingly important in events, now this solution aims to facilitate its management.
