The risk capital fund Banesto ENISA SEPI Desarrollo F.C.R. has signed an agreement to acquire 25% of capital in Global Events ID Corporation.

As the company comments, “the entry of this investor will consolidate and guarantee the process of national and international expansion that Global Events has been going through in the last years”. Global Events has acquired several national communication companies and opened affiliated offices in Miami, Paris and Cologne. It is planned to open next in New York.

The entry of a financial institution is a novelty in the sector who is not used to investors, external shareholders (who are not the same management of the company) and financial markets. As Global Events comments, “it is the first step in the making of strong players in growing market with an excessive fragmentation.”
