The Glòries shopping mall gets inspiration from Vicky the Viking

More and more, malls need to reach out to their target, and children are always one of their most important targets. In the countdown to going back to school, the Glòries mall, in collaboration with the publishing house Planeta Junior, is attracting the young ones with workshops and gifts. This marketing action was inspired on the 80 TV series Vicky the Viking, and it is sponsored by Telstra, Scandinavian Airlines and Ikea.

With the launch of this campaign, “Per la tornada al cole ens fem els suecs davant la crisi amb Vicky, el Viking“, which lasts from August 29th to September 12th, families who visit the mall can enjoy drawing, painting, masks and puppets workshops. A photocall give children the possibility to portray themselves as the character Vicky from the series. And on Saturday, they can meet Vicky while the rest of the family try Swedish traditional food. Sponsors (mostly Scandinavian brands) give the possibility to win vouchers or gifts.
