The biggest release of books in history: The Bookcrossing campaign organized by the agency Balthazar for Mahou and the municipality of Madrid took place on 14 November in the capital. More than 30,000 books reached the freedom...
Parks, metro, fountains, buses, bars … everything in Madrid was filled with books last week. Any clueless that strolled through the capital that day must have been intrigued by the avalanche of books that appeared everywhere.
In total, more than 30,000 volumes of all the issues were released in this Bookcrossing campaign organized by the City of Madrid and Mahou, attendeded by no less than 700 volunteers, including many celebrities. Balthazar agency launched during the previous weeks themed buses plying the streets looking for volunteers.
