Loads of powder to showcase the history of the most famous Valencian celebration

It all started with an idea: the city had to make more noise than ever to defend this application. So on 29th February, the city hall square hosted a celebration with more than 100,000 detonations, using new techniques and controlled by digital systems and featuring a finale that shook the entire city. The show was broadcast by Periscope (new star in event broadcasting and viralization).
The show began by playing the beating of a heart using detonations, illustrating the passion that Valencians put in this celebration. Then the show alluded to the importance of fire, recreating colors and sounds effects through a sea of ??flames. The importance of music (present in all celebrations) was simulated using detonations following the rhythm of the popular song ´We will rock you´. Colored smoke used in the explosions drew flowers and a tribute was made to the colorful Fallas monuments (paper structures which are burned at the end of the celebration).
