Dramatizing the Yin and Yang to communicate the merger of Whirlpool and Indesit

 Branward agency asked ACME to develop for Whirlpool a theatrical action of the news from the companys news and the acquisition by Whirlpool of Indesit Group, but in a special and provocative way. For this they developed a twelve-minute show based on the Yin and Yang, representing the complementary strengths of the two companies merged.

During the performance, in which intervened twenty professionals of performing arts, including actors and dancers, represented through choreography and the rhythm of the centrifugal movement of washing machines, a parallelism based on the yin and yang: Whirlpool and Indesit. Showing two interconnected and interdependent forces in the real world, one being the cause of the other and vice versa: the design strength, elegance and precision that, in this case, were the appliances offered to their customers.

During the show six dancers located in different islands on the appliances represented the soul and essence of them, while a voiceover narrated in detail the characteristics of the appliances. Finally, rain effects and movements performed the merger of both brands.

The show has been performed in roadshow format, via Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao, enjoyed by a thousand of spectators. A logistical challenge as well as for each show the agency had to move tens of appliances which were integrated into the performance and numerous technical elements.
