CPhI Worldwide gathers the pharma world in Madrid

Content is king. Besides the exhibition, the CPHI 7th Pre-Connect congress took place on the day before, bringing together high-level representatives of all segments of the industry to address the latest trends in this sector. Also this year saw the introduction of the CPhI Pharma Forum, a content village that provided a hub to examine thought leadership from media partners and the CPhI Pharma Insights Reports. This Pharma Forum was also the location for the exhibitor and visitor party, and included exhibitor Innovation Galleries, the CPhI Pharma Awards and the Pharma Insight Innovation Briefings – offering in-depth sessions.
This is an important evolution of the show: “CPhI Worldwide provides the best opportunities for networking across the industry. However, over the past few years it has grown into a content-provider as well”, says Rutger Oudejans, Brand Director, Pharma, UBM EMEA. The Pharma Forum will continue to grow and deliver an even greater selection of content, innovations and discussion”, he adds.

Even with CPhI Worldwide growing substantially over the years, each time we return to Madrid the service, venue hospitality and general assistance has been exemplary. For the first time, CPhI Worldwide will remain in the same country for two years running, taking place in Barcelona (4-6 October, 2016).
