This fun street marketing action was to simulate in the Plaza de Santa María Torres Acosta, better known as the Plaza de Luna de Madrid theaters, the Blue Rookie Police Academy, where passersby were challenged to make a series of tests:
“Suspicious Suitcase” consisted in detecting inside suitcases, and in the shortest time possible suspicious items (knives, bag with alleged drugs, guns …).
“Run and Eat”: no policeman starts to patrol without the “donut” and coffee. The test was to beat a track tire with a donut in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Upon reaching the goal, should recite the rights of a detainee while they ate the doughnut.
“Defense”, where they had to demonstrate their skills in self-defense by neutralising an attack by an alleged weapon under the supervision of a martial arts expert.
After passing these tests, participants received a police badge. The best student of each trial was rewarded with a shirt, a photo and a giant poster, signed by the protagonists of the series.
