A hangar as an immersive plenary room for Airbus

On March 10th and 11th the ´Management Forum Airbus gathered his 500 top managers at their facility in Seville. Eventisimo transformed the large hangar H2 in a grand plenary hall of 4,500m2.

The event began receiving participants with a welcome luncheon held in a tent installed outside the entrances of the hangar and made a bright start to the large space that awaited them for the convention. Eventisimo had transformed the huge space offered by the assembly hangar in a plenary hall and the event in an immersive experience. Installed in the center of the space , the stage was under a semicircular projection screen 70m in length.

Audiovisual that fed the huge support emerged from five synchronized projectors that created one giant image or multiplied all content into several parts so that there was a perfect view from any of the 86 tables in which 500 people were sitting. To obtain this great structure, a curved lahyer of 90m long by nine high was mounted, with over 5,000 pieces of aluminum tube which was wrapped with a printed canvas and a projection screen. The structure was installed in the center of the large hangar, which was emptied by Airbus just a week before the event and that was to make a blackout of the upper lights over 30m high.

Following the presentations, the semicircular wall opened to make way for the exhibition area, where Airbus innovation projects were exposed through eight large stands, designed ad hoc for the occasion. To end this first day of the convention participants performed a nighttime journey through the waters of the Guadalquivir, which ended at the dock Sailing Pavilion building where the gala dinner took place.

For the second day, a couple of unique team building activities awaited them; inspired by the claim of the event, “Pioneering the Future Together”. In the first one, they had the chance to drive an Airbus from their seats, holding a light reflector whose movements were captured by different cameras on stage.

The second activity, organized by the Abbsolute Group was held outside the hangar and was nothing more and nothing less than to move a giant A400M adding forces together. A team effort that achieved the feat of moving the aircraft several meters on the track.
