London is the ´set´ the big winner of this edition, “The king´s speech.” One more reason to increase visits to the British capital this year more fashionable than ever in preparation for the Olympics and the royal wedding.
A journey through the stages of the film should start in Harley Street, where King George VI (Colin Firth) carried out much of its treatment of language correction. This street in Westminster since the nineteenth century is the mecca of private health care, and has a lot of private practice dentists, surgeons and doctors.
We must not leave out either the final stage of the emotional speech of the film, much as Buckingham Palace. The State Rooms of the palace are open to the public from 29 July to 29 September.
From London we fly to the mountains of Colorado, stunning natural landscape of the distressing “127 hour”, which tells the true story of Aron Ralston, a hiker who had to self-amputate his arm to survive a mountain accident. This is a very suitable destination for incentives that include adventure sports. Landscape impact is also featured in “True Grit,” a Coen brothers´ western filmed in northern California.
