The magic of the awards could not be turned off by the heavy downpour in July... The party had to be completed. So last Wednesday, in LaSede del COAM, Grupo eventoplus finished the awards ceremony with the Final Part(y). Some 300 professionals gathered to celebrate the industry and pay tribute to the best events of 2015 in an afterwork.

What if it rains on your BIG EVENT? We remind here that the eventoplus awards were interrupted by a terrible summer storm (that belied a weather part of a 0% chance of rain in the hours of the event) and the photos and speeches that go with any awards could not take place. What to do? Aside from acknowledging, learning, communicating a lot with clients, sponsors, collaborators of this event… what about repeating the event, or at least complete it fully?

That´s how it went. Presented humorously as the longest longer awards in history by Marcos Canas, the presenter of the event, this second part took place 10 weeks after its start (July 6 to September 14) and allowed to finish the networking and celebration, as well as thank again sponsors (ibtm world, Andalucía, Meliá Hotels and Resorts, and the Las Ventas venue) and collaborators of July event.

The nearly 300 attendees came at 18:30, greeted by Workout´s hostesses and at 19:00 began the formal part: in the auditorium of COAM powered by Kingston audiovisuals, the winners could return to the stage, lifting their prize, saying the words of gratitude or joy they could not say in Las Ventas. Much humor, an occasional nod to the weather formed a relaxed and agile second part, which lasted less than an hour.

Accompanied by green bottles from a Heineken bar, partner of the event, followed another great moment of industry-building. This time Artigot Catering set up a gastronomic journey passing through Mexico and its fajitas, sushi and Japanese delicacy with points of finger buffet with oysters, cheeses or even a wine-tasting spot.

Since in this event eventoplus Group also ´confessed´, a “confessional” was setup in the cocktail area, where attendees could confess the sins and mistakes they made in their events. A room where, with a mask to preserve anonymity, they could speak in front of a camera.

A second installment to gather the industry and network, with the humour of Marcos Canas (conceptor of the event with his agency Sta Templeton). Images, photo and video, were managed by the team of Jesus Anton.
