 Our Meeting & Incentive Summit (MIS) was back to being the meeting point where more than 200 meeting planners, both national and international, experienced an "intelligent" day of networking, education and inspiration to make their next meeting intelligent.

For this third edition of MIS held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos de Madrid, we discovered new formats for meetings, elements that can reinforce the success of meetings and incentives, in addition to learning about communicating efficiently with our participants.

Julius Solaris opened the day with an extensive line up of education topics by sharing the Event Trends for 2015, where among many other important points, he reminded us to always let the participants be active and make them the protagonist during meetings.

David Aragón shared his expertise on the change of the VAT law and its impact, which was highly interesting for many present.

Olga Navarro offered various examples of Crystal Awards winning incentives and while living in an era where travelling is no longer a luxury, we can still create impact with creativity. Among some of the tips shared is to opt for incentive agencies who are flexible and offer unique experiences such as one incentive programme who brought its guests to India to attend an authentic Indian wedding.

Experiences and meeting design, the stars of practical workshops

Chema Gómez offered an interactive and experiencial session with Hans Etsman and Natalia Barrero to make participants understand what and why meeting design is important via participation in various experiments and share how they can influence participants´ behavior in a meeting.
