From essential as the Kursaal to other more surprising that joined in recent years as the Balenciaga Museum in San Sebastián with attractive spaces for events, most abound with a location that avoids cumbersome transfers.
Among the restored spaces for events in recent times include the San Telmo Museum, a sixteenth-century Dominican monastery, whose church and cloister dinners are held up to 670 people; and Victoria Eugenia Theatre, one of the most emblematic buildings of the city.
Another interesting area is the Basque Culinary Center, located in the upper part, in a natural environment, home to the first Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences has an auditorium for 200 people and other spaces.
City of events
Apart from the renewd venues, the capital offers incentives tied to its cuisine, culture and some of its major annual events such as the International Film Festival, the Jazz Festival or the Flag of La Concha (racing regattas) and traditional pelota championships.
Film weekend
Each September, also parallel to one of its most iconic annual events, the famous film festival, the city proposes an incentive program “Film Weekend” featuring small groups enjoy the glamor with a walk through the red carpet, attend the opening gala from a privileged place, and enjoy a premiere on the big screen alongside international stars.
