Selecting a venue for your event implies more than just the square metres contrated. We provide you with a list of key components when selecting your next venues.

Venue selection is probably the most important decision for an event. The venue conditions the style of the event, its appeal and the ambience that you want to create and the messages to communicate. Selecting a suitable venue goes more than just its aesthetic, location and capacity. Here are some points to note:

The height. Generally the minimum required height is 4 metres (adding the height of a person standing, the podium and the height of the screen). Beware of all the elements that can block the view such as large hanging ceiling lamps and whether they can be removed and at what cost.

The floor. A frequent problem with tradeshow centres and industrial venues, including renovated venues. An unsuitable floor (unevenness, ugly and with echo effect) need carpeting or platforms. In addition, it generates costs (around 5 euros per sqm and between 6 and 9 euros for the platform).
