AF Steelcase, company of advice, design and equipment of working venues, organised last February in Prague a journey to the past to present its new range of products to the Spanish and Portuguese distributors’ network. The initiative was organised by the agency ThinkSmart.

During the plenary meeting and dinner in the Santa Ines Monastery, one of the most valuable Gothic and ancient monuments of Prague, the Dukes of Inspiration made entrance, an aristocratic (fictitious) family of beginning of 20th century Austro-Hungary, who requested professional advice in the election of the furniture for his business offices.

The following day, in the Brevnov Monastery, from the Benedictine Order in Bohemia, the imaginary family and their entourage welcomed guests and guided them through seven rooms where the new range of Steelcase’s products was exhibited. Participants were divided in 7 groups to visit each room, guided by a Steelcase expert, who explained the products, and by an artist of the Court of Inspiration, who linked the products to art: a dance to present an adjustable table, or a sculpture to decorate Direction’s new table, made in wood and designed by Mario Ruiz.
