The transaction includes the activities of business travel, meetings and events and holiday in Spain; the total sale volume of the new acquired business, which will operate under the Carlson Wagonlit Travel brand, is estimated to be approximately 60 millions Euros in Spain. CWT will incorporate the Viajes MAPFRE staff into its organisation.
On the other hand, CWT has decided to incorporate into GEBTA España, a Spanish consortium of travel agencies specialising in corporate travel with 17 agencies and an annual business volume of about 1,850 million Euros.
