The Balneario of Mondariz has been named Best Accommodation in Galicia 2007 by the association of Tourism journalists and writers, competing with the Hostal Reyes Catolicos of Santiago de Compostela, the Gran Hotel Hesperia La Toja and the Pazo da Buzaca.

This new award adds to the recognitions already obtained by Mondariz over these years, in which it has recovered one of the oldest thermal villas in Europe. In 2005 and 2006, it was awarded as the Best Resort in Spain and was in the third position in the Business Traveller’s 2005 ranking in the Best Spa Hotel.
