British Petrol celebrates “40 wonderful years”

A night of the 60’s at Kssim’s Gardens in Benicassim was attended by 600 staff of BP. The 40th anniversary of the refinery in Castellon was celebrated under the slogan “BP, Be Positive” organised by Bemusic on the past 26th of October.

The venue was decorated in corporate colors, balloons, large windmills hanging from the roof, lights, and yellow sunflowers that decorated the tables.

A show with fire and stiltwalkers welcomed to the guests in the garden. After the cocktail, guests entered the tent where two masters of ceremonies gave a humorous welcome speech. During the dinner, Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe impersonators interacted with the audience.

The lights were turned off for the birthday cake. Marilyn sang her legendary singing Happy Birthday, but was changed to “Happy Birthday BP.”

Guests danced to the rhythm of “Los escarabajos”, the Spanish band that played songs from The Beatles. The guests also participated in the “EuroBPsion” Karaoke contest. A DJ closed the night with dancing and disco music.
