The re-branded International Congress & Convention Researchers Meeting ICCRM-, now known as the ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme, attracted an all time record of 136 participants from as many as 26 different countries all over the world.

A new item in the programme was the Request for Proposal (RFP). The participants were split into 13 groups with people from different destinations and sectors to analyse a RFP and present their findings.
